This course is for teachers who are interested in updating their teaching skills and need to understand & introduce basic collaborative teaching methodology, to discover communicative ways of helping learners understand language (vocabulary & grammar), and to have a basic understanding of the staging of lessons

Basic understanding of communicative/collaborative methodology for teaching in English
General classroom management
Focus on adapting course book materials so that students are stretched & challenged more
Building up confidence through peer teaching
The course aims to provide participants with the opportunity to have a basic understanding of how to structure collaborative lessons. In addition they will have the opportunity to use their English knowledge and increase their confidence.
As a result of attending this course, the participants will be able to plan and execute basic lessons in English; they will also feel more confident in using English.
