About Workshop
This course is for teachers who are interested in updating their teaching skills and need to understand & introduce basic collaborative teaching methodology, to discover communicative ways of helping learners understand language (vocabulary & grammar), and to have a basic understanding of the staging of lessons
Program of the training activities:
• Basic understanding of communicative/collaborative methodology for teaching in English
• General classroom management
• Focus on adapting course book materials so that students are stretched & challenged more
• Building up confidence through peer teaching
Objectives:
The course aims to provide participants with the opportunity to have a basic understanding of how to structure collaborative lessons. In addition they will have the opportunity to use their English knowledge and increase their confidence.
Expected results:
As a result of attending this course, the participants will be able to plan and execute basic lessons in English; they will also feel more confident in using English.

Classroom management & Efficient Planning
Simple strategies & practice activities

Practical examples & peer teaching of simple vocabulary.
Session 05:
Adapting materials to suit collaborative learning
Session 06:
Review of and feedback on the all day workshop
