About Workshop
Customs is the frontier authority in a country responsible for collecting Government revenue, controlling the flow of goods, controlling the smuggling and safeguarding the economy. They are also responsible to implement more than hundred acts. After 9/11, Customs has given the responsibility to ensure the supply chain security which has given the organization a new dimension.
An importer or exporter has to follow a complex customs procedure in the way of import and export. This course will help to understand the process of clearance, preconditions to be met before import or export and to minimize the expenses and speed up the business.
How participants will benefit after the workshop:
Customs procedure is complex all over the World. Nature of the activity makes its complex. However, this course is designed to unearth the complex work process of Customs and identify legal solutions to the participants. After successful completion of the course, they will be able to identify what to be done before, during and after import and export. It will make them capable to select an appropriate agent, minimize costs, quick clearance and avoid any demand after completion of import and export.
Participants will be provided with a book titled Bangladesh Customs Act and Policies authored by the resource person.
