Most of the oil refineries along the East Coast of the USA were visited by Mr. Golam Kibria, from Corpus Christi, Texas, to Portland, Maine, and an exclusive hands-on knowledge gave him the edge for taking up a job of management of HSE in the later stage of his life. He joined Bureau Veritas (Bangladesh) Pvt. Ltd. in 2005. Today, Mr. Golam Kibria heads 6 out of the 8 global business lines of Bureau Veritas in Bangladesh.

Mr. Golam Kibria has extensive audit experience both at home and abroad, in all the areas of QHSE & SA, covering landmark organizations like Reliance Energy, Bharat Heavy Electricals, Crompton and Greaves, e-Serve (back end operation of Citi Bank NA), and Larson and Tubro. He carried out the SA 8000 certification audit of the Commercial Vehicle Division of TATA Motors at Jamshedpur as well.
