Leadership for Developing a Better Workplace

Introduction

BDJOBS feels that in this era or current situation of professionalism both in corporate and non-corporate e.g. NGOs entities require a very effective, result oriented and overall meaningful leadership in order to develop a better workplace to ensure a positive organizational development. Leadership in any organization and/or groups is very essential element and an organization may fail and/or fall down due to weaknesses in the leadership & management development. At the same time an organization or entity may not be proper unbelievably due to a meaningful & effective/meaningful leadership. For that reason, BDJOBS is going to conduct a daylong course on Meaningful Leadership, Management Development for Developing a Better Workplace.
This course would focus on improving leadership techniques by including/applying proper methods of conducting them.

Success in developing effective leadership depends on number of issues, which are:

- Proper understanding on the Theories and history of leadership.
- Organize thoughts on leadership and its impacts on workplace to organizational development.
- Effectively plan for the participants, purpose & tone along with methods.
- Develop the contents for clarity, conciseness, and correctness, and
- Attach the necessary & proper documents.

Learning from the course

Learning from the course could be as follows:
* Why Leadership and challenges/barriers of leadership
* Definitions and different Steps of the leadership
* Meaningful Leadership and a better workplace
* Different methodologies of leadership and management
* Techniques of leadership

Methodology

Methodology of the course would be interactive with visual presentation including discussion and Q-A.

Contents of Training:

Session-1: Leadership and Responsive Leadership

The opening working session of the course would deal with the definition of leadership including 5 ways of defining leadership and also the traits of a leader. The session would also create an understanding about how the responsive leader/manager tends to succeed by building bonds of respect and trust with those around him/her. That result in staff respond positively to responsive managers.

Session-2: How to be a Good Leader

This session would deal with the qualities of a person for offing to be a good leader that would ultimately help the organization and the colleagues.

Session-3: Managers and Leaders

Leaders and Managers are almost the same as they have to manage a team and activities of an organization. This session would focus on the vision of the leaders and/or managers from what can be achieved and then communicate this to others and evolve strategies for realizing the vision.

Session-4: Leadership and Management ability

Leadership is meant for changing ideas about leadership & management, and their competencies and frameworks. It also addresses the management skills & competencies, which encompasses the ethnic minority groups in management & leadership and gender differences. This session would focus on all these aspects of leadership & management.

Session-5: Leadership and Management Development-LMD

Everyone has his or her own model of leadership and management, often based on prejudiced experience. In addition, most people who manage or lead learn from experience, especially in their organizations and that would be dealt in this session.

Session-6: Employee focused Workplace

An employee focused workplace is a necessity to produce a sense of well-being, trust, optimism and confidence that can propel a company’s culture forward takes investment over the long term. A meaningful, agile leadership may play a pivotal role in creating a better workplace by ensuring all those issues mentioned above and this session would deal with them.

Session-7: Great Leaders & Great Managers

Great Leaders and Great Managers are the indispensable part of developing a better workplace in order to ensure and organization’s development and this session would deal with the factors related to them.

Session-8: Moral-Ethics-Core values & Competences

All the factors are a magnetic requirement for an organization to be developed in a better workplace and the session would deal with those issues in a vivid & participatory way.

The course would also be concluded after an open discussion and Q-A.
