Course Description
Day 1: Setting up your Joomla environment. We'll install Joomla manually and explain how it works, outlining the file, folder and database structures.

Joomla! Administration - Global Configuration will explain & show its work.

Day 2: Advanced content editing and management. We'll add extra features to Joomla's content editing including improved multimedia, document, image and link-handling options. We'll also focus on security, including how to restrict users editing options and track different versions of a document.

Day 3: Understanding components and using advanced Joomla components. We'll create a community site by adding user profiles and social networking. We'll also create a blog with commenting and sharing features.

Understanding modules and using advanced Joomla modules. In the beginner class we explain module positions. We also see how to control them in more advanced ways, choosing who can see them and setting publishes and unpublished dates. Understanding plugins and using advanced Joomla plugins. We'll see how to create slideshows and video displays, spice up content items with extra features and how to login to Joomla using accounts from other sites.

Day 4: Understanding Joomla! Template files. We'll edit the template's design, showing you how to manage the layout, plus the colors, fonts and images. We’ll teach you how to make your own Joomla template according to client need. Creating and editing custom Joomla! Templates.

Day 5: Understanding OsCommerce, OsCommerce Installation, Administration Tool, Configuration Store, Shipping/Packaging, Product Listing, Stock Inventory, Email Options, OsCommerce Catalog and Modules.

Day 6: OsCommerce Customers, Orders, Localization & Database Backup, Banner Manager, Newsletter Manager, OsCommerce E-Mails, Classes, Design and Layout.

Day 7: Understanding Zencart, Zencart Installing, Configure Product Catalog, Quantity Discounts, Managing banners in Zencart, Managing customers, email and SSL in Zencart.

Day 8: Sending newsletter, managing payment, Adding Shipping modules in Zencart, Zen cart Shipping options, Configuring currency, Sales Tax, Installing ZenCart Template and Languages.

Day 9: Understanding Drupal, Drupal Installation, Administrative Interface, Writing a Modules, Storing Settings, Understanding Events and Triggers, Understanding Actions, Using the Context in Actions, Adding Triggers to Existing Hooks, and the Menu System.

Day 10: Working with Databases, Working with Users, Working with Nodes, & the Theme System, Working with Blocks, the Form API, Manipulating User Input, Searching and Indexing Content, Working with Files, Working with Taxonomy, Caching, and Sessions.

Day 11: Understanding WordPress, WordPress Installation, Start up guide for WordPress, WordPress Category, WordPress Comments, Create a WordPress Theme.

Day 12: WordPress Plugins, WordPress Shopping cart, WordPress Images, Create a Community Website, Recent Comments, WordPress Spelling Checker, WP Classified Plugins, Your Classified Ads, WordPress Security, WordPress Spam Protection, Optimize WordPress Website, WordPress SEO, Google AdSense in WordPress, WordPress Backup, WordPress Update.

Day 13:Understanding SEO SEO Benefits,SEO Challenges,The SEO Process,SEO Alternatives

Day 14:Search Engine Primer,Google, Yahoo! , Bing,Types of Search Engines and Web Directories,Search Engine Anatomy,Search Engine Rankings,Google Webmaster Tools and Google Analytics,Google Webmaster Tools,Google Analytics

Day 15: Understanding about freelancing, Future in Bangladesh, How to get job, Understanding about Odesk,Job wining process in Odesk.

Day16: Continuation of Odesk job wining process and discussion about other freelancing site like freelancer.com, joomlancers.com etc.
