K.M.Ali started his career in the Marketing Department of British American Tobacco in the year 1980. Having served for long 15 years, he left BAT in 1995 and joined Samah Razor Blade Industries Limited (a sister concern of GMG group) as Director, Sales & Marketing.*** By the end of 1996, Ali was made the Chief Executive officer (CEO) of the company, which is the largest razor blade company of the country. During this time, he launched Sharp Stainless Blade, which later turned out to be the highest selling razor blade in the country.

K.M.Ali moved to Transcom Electronics Ltd. (Philips) at the end of 1997 as its Head of Consumer Electronics. He also established a lasting market for the Whirlpool (U.S.A.) brand of appliances. There after, Ali had a short stint with Otobi as its Head of Sales & Marketing followed by another stint in Rahimafrooz Energy Services as its Chief Operating Officer till 2009. In Rahimafrooz Energy, Ali successfully served in the capital goods (Power Generation) business. He enhanced the business to a significant level by using his leadership excellence. At the moment, he is the Chief Executive Officer of Partex Group (Complex-1). K.M.Ali brings with him a rare blend of insights and experiences into Bangladeshs FMCG, Consumer Durables and Capital Goods businesses in key management positions having sales and marketing as his core areas of expertise. His uniqueness is also demonstrated by his work experiences in both Multinational and Bangladeshi companies.

K.M. Ali did his B.A (Hons.) and M.A in English from Rajshahi University. He has attended many training programs both at home and abroad. Also, he has given training to many Sales & Marketing professionals of both multinational and Bangladeshi companies.
