Excel Your Supply Chain Activity with Spreadsheet Modeling
This workshop will offer a hands-on approach regarding the use of spreadsheet analysis for supply chain management (SCM). By attending the workshop, one will have an understanding about the importance and relevance of spreadsheet analysis to manage a supply chain efficiently. The workshop will focus on formulation and solution of SCM problems using different tools of MS Excel (particularly Excel Solver).

Dr. Qazi Shaheen Kabir
Dr. Qazi Shaheen Kabir is a faculty member at State University of New York (SUNY). Earlier, he worked as a faculty member at IBA (DU) and BRAC University. He is also a Fulbright Scholar and published research papers in reputed international journals like International Journal of Production Research (IJPR), and Computers & Industrial Engineering (CAIE). He is also a reviewer of reputed international journals like International Journal of Production Economics (IJPE).
Dr. Kabir earned his PhD degree with a specialization in Supply Chain Management from Iowa State University (USA), a top ranking university in the field of Supply Chain Management. Before the PhD, he earned two MBA degrees - one with a concentration in Supply Chain Management from Syracuse University (USA), and the other with a concentration in Management Science from IBA (DU). He also earned an MS degree in Industrial Engineering from Binghamton University (USA) and a BSc degree in Mechanical Engineering from BUET.
