The training program on Professional Communication and Etiquette offers you a package of essentialskills to portray your professional image and a tool to fast-track your success. It is never too late to startadopting professional attributes, such as following appropriate style of communication, buildingprofessional relationships with superiors, stakeholders and networking with external clients, conductingbusiness meetings effectively, dining with formal dinner etiquette, etc. All these add up to creating thepositive image of your company and you as a professional. This one-day training program is designed forprofessionals at all levels and will cover everything that comes under the banner of professionalism.


Pre-workshop: Study content and assignment During the workshop: Video recording, Presentation, Group discussion, Roleplay, etc. Post-workshop: Online learning, Coaching, and Assessment. Note: After the first level of TTT courses, they shall be invited to present their course in real-time.

➢ Recognizing the kind of information to share and topics to discuss
➢ Respecting colleagues` privacy of personal information, space and belongings
➢ Keeping stationary and information handy at meetings with clients or other official occasions
➢ Asking for feedback from superiors and give short-comings in for further learning
➢ Maintaining Health & Hygiene within the office environment
➢ Avoiding discrimination of age, sex and race
➢ Managing difficult colleagues- Being tactful and professional in conveying difficult message to a customer for an effective resolution

Activity/Exercise- Building Professionalism Collage:
In this exercise, participants will categorize several activities that we perform during the office-hours, as professional and unprofessional. By doing this, participants will have a clear concept of how to make a professional working environment following the professional behavior guidelines.

Practice Giving and Taking Feedback: Analyze Scripts to Determine the “Right Way to Deal with and Give out Negative Feedbacks in a Professional Way” followed by Role Play

Understanding different communication styles

➢ Saying the right words at the right time
➢ Using the kind of terminologies, words and phrases suitable to address and communicate with Colleagues at upper and lower tiers

Activity- Identify your own communication style and map out techniques to bridge with others

Attending Corporate Dinner and Events, and Building Constructive Corporate Relationship
➢ Choosing the appropriate attire
➢ Socializing Techniques for Corporate/Official meeting, parties or other programs
➢ Dining Table Etiquette: Using Cutleries & Napkins, Holding Tea-cups & Glasses, talking, while dining

Business Meeting Etiquette
➢ How to present information and updates
➢ How to give way to others and interject with your ideas at the same time

Mohammad Maruf Firoz is an L&D Professional (learning and development), he has an extensive knowledge in business training and life coaching. He is also a CELTA certified trainer by Cambridge University. On top, he is an NLP practitioner and attended the ultimate Train The Trainer course by American Board of Neuro Linguistic Programming (ABNLP). His areas of interest include Emotional Intelligence, Leadership and team building, Train the trainers, Public speaking and Presentation, Business communication, Client service management, and Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) etc. He is a specialist in excellent communication skills: he has taught more than ten thousand participants of how to flawlessly connect with audiences in their unique style, his knack for transferring communication skills and immediately actionable techniques are praiseworthy.
He started his career with Banglalink as an In Charge of Franchise Support Unit in Sylhet Division. Before becoming an entrepreneur, he worked as a management consultant for few local companies. He has been training corporates, government officials, and many university graduates. He has created a massive and an intensive 350 hour-long DevPro course on Effective English Communication for the senior employees of BRAC International who have been now deployed in the BRAC International offices worldwide. He is an enlisted trainer of PDB and has experienced to train from senior executive to high rank officials of Bangladesh Power Development Board. He has given talks in KUET, Daffodil University, IUB, South East University, BUFT, BSMRAU etc.
However, as a serial entrepreneur he is more popular, he is the CEO and Founder of British American Resource Center, Founder of Future Initiatives, and the CEO of - a global platform for computer delivered IELTS preparation. And other two global platforms - AmarEnglish dotcom, and are in pipeline. He has received the Young Entrepreneur Award in 2018. He had his Graduation and Post-Graduation from Dhaka University in Public Administration, and he had been graduated SSC and HSC from Sylhet Cadet College. He compiled a book: IELTS Big Book of Speaking published in 2013.
